Hymnal indexes

We’re seeking permission to offer basic hymn references inside My Church Group’s music planner.

What we’re requesting

  • The book and edition, hymn number, and title.
  • Creator credits and tune names, where permission covers those fields.
  • Permission to store, search, and display those references across churches using our commercial planning app.

How churches would use it

A planner could find a hymn in a particular book and add its reference to a service plan. We’d agree on the approved source, editions, attribution, update process, and any usage conditions with the publisher.

An index isn’t a music license.

This request does not include lyrics, scores, recordings, or book artwork. Selecting a reference does not supply permission to copy, share, perform, or stream music. Churches remain responsible for any permissions their intended use requires.
