My Church Group keeps church life connected, so the privacy page should be plain about what data is used, who can see it, and how members can ask for deletion.
Service providers process data only to operate the website, app, billing, support, notifications, and reliability systems.
Church access
Records stay scoped to the church.
Authorized church staff can see tenant records they need for support, moderation, administration, and church operations.
Deletion
There is a clear account path.
Members can request deletion in the app or through the browser deletion page when they cannot access the app.
Information we collect
We collect the account, profile, church membership, group participation, messages, uploads, event responses, volunteer records, support requests, diagnostics, billing records, and notification preferences needed to run My Church Group.
Account details such as name, email, phone, profile information, and authentication records.
Church and group records such as memberships, roles, join requests, files, events, tasks, signups, and messages.
Operational records such as support requests, billing status, device tokens, diagnostics, audit logs, and reliability signals.
Sensitive permissions
Camera, photo library, microphone, local network, Wi-Fi, location-derived Wi-Fi context, notifications, and Face ID or local authentication are requested only when a feature needs them.
Camera and photo access support profile, church, group, and file uploads.
Notifications support church updates, group messages, signups, service reminders, and account alerts.
Hearing Assist uses microphone and local network or Wi-Fi access to send and receive assistive service audio on the church network.
How data is used
Data is used to provide secure app and web access, church workflows, groups, messaging, live services, Hearing Assist, account support, notifications, billing, moderation, and reliability monitoring.
Sharing and visibility
We do not sell personal data. Firebase and Google Cloud, Stripe, email providers, Apple, Google, and similar service providers process data only to operate the service. Church tenant administrators and authorized staff may see tenant-scoped records needed for support, moderation, administration, and church operations.
Retention and deletion
We retain records while accounts are active and as needed for legal, security, billing, audit, backup, abuse-prevention, moderation, and church recordkeeping obligations. Members can request deletion from the in-app Account screen or at mychurch.group/delete-account.
Children and minors
Churches may use household and dependent features for minors under parent, guardian, or staff control. Churches are responsible for any required consent before adding or managing minor information.
