CHURCH LIFE, WITHOUT THE SCATTER

Church is happening everywhere. The information shouldn’t be.

My Church Group puts announcements, group conversations, events, serving, files, and ministry plans in the same system. Leaders manage their own groups. Staff steps in when something needs church-wide reach, and members see what applies to them.

DOCUMENT IMPORT

TRY THE SAMPLE

A bulletin should not create six data-entry jobs.

Import a text-based bulletin, newsletter, or pasted text. My Church Group keeps the source attached, identifies events and actions, and sends missing details to staff before anything is published.

HOW WORK STARTS

Work can start with staff, a leader, or an existing file.

Leaders create items inside their groups. Staff can import an existing bulletin. Ministry teams can manage larger plans. Dates, files, decisions, and responses stay with the source instead of being copied between tools.

Import existing work

Keep the source attached.

Review detected dates, contacts, possible duplicates, and missing details against the original. DOCX artwork remains available; image-only scans need text before import.

GROUP ROOMS

FOR GROUP LEADERS

Group leaders can handle the day-to-day themselves.

Each group room has its own updates, conversations, events, files, member list, serving needs, and ministry plans. A leader sends an existing item to Church Desk only when it needs church-wide publication or staff approval.

ACCESS BY ROLE

The same event should not look the same to everyone.

Switch between the staff, leader, member, and public views of Community Supper. Each view shows the decisions and actions appropriate to that role.

Review what needs a staff decision

Review requests for church-wide publication, supply missing details, and coordinate across groups without opening their private conversations.

Access follows the person’s role and group membership.

QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING

Know what moves, what stays private, and what costs money.

Plain answers before your church creates an account.

01Do we have to move everything at once?

No. Start with one group room, the current bulletin, or one ministry plan. Add the rest when the people responsible for it are ready.

02What can document import read?

Text-based PDFs, DOCX files, and pasted text. Image-only scans need searchable text before they can be imported.

03Does an import publish automatically?

No. Missing details and possible duplicates stop for human review. The original source stays attached so staff can check where each item came from.

04What can group leaders manage without staff?

Their group’s updates, conversations, events, files, member list, serving needs, and ministry plans. Church-wide publication goes to Church Desk when staff review is required.

05Who can see private group information?

Access follows church roles and group membership. A public link exposes the published item—not the private room, its files, or its conversations.

06Does My Church Group process donations?

No. A church can attach its approved external giving page to an update, event, or ministry plan.

07Is there a phone app?

My Church Group is a responsive web app that works on phones, tablets, and computers. Browser notifications and calendar subscriptions are available; App Store and Play Store apps are not currently offered.

08What happens after the 30-day pilot?

A church owner chooses a paid plan or requests a reviewed invoice. Starting the pilot does not collect payment details or create a paid subscription.

START WITH WHAT IS ALREADY HAPPENING

Set up the church you already have.

Create the church, invite staff and leaders, then choose a practical starting point: open a group room, import the current bulletin, or build a ministry plan.
